My name’s Meg.
I'm a journalist/writer/language-lover with a curious streak that's always served me well. I was born and bred in the charming college town of Fort Collins, Colorado, where my parents taught me the worth of a good story. In 2016 I graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in journalism studies, French and creative writing, and went on to spend a year in the French Alps teaching English in French elementary schools (with a bit of traveling on the weekends).
Whether I'm writing about culture, policy, travel, or just a really great sandwich, words are my favorite form of expression. I'm currently reporting on education (and a little of everything else) for The Keene Sentinel, an award-winning daily newspaper serving southwestern New Hampshire. You can read my work in a number of other publications, including Denver Life magazine, the Denver Business Journal, and 5280 magazine.
